Contents

This workshop introduces participants to Simplified Technical English (STE) as defined by ASD-STE100. It begins with an overview of the structure of STE (writing rules and dictionary) followed by hands-on exercises. Attendees will create new procedures and rewrite existing ones to comply with STE rules. Attendees will receive an official copy of the newly released Issue 9, serving as a foundation for exercises and terminology validation. By the end of the session, attendees will gain practical skills and a deeper understanding of how to apply the principles of Simplified Technical English to technical writing.
