ChatGPT & Co are the subject of much and controversial discussion. But how can generative AI processes be used professionally in technical communication? What tasks do these systems actually help with (beyond writing texts) and where are the limits?
The talk will present the outcomes of several GenAI based projects we implemented in 2023 with different customers from the manufacturing area. The most important requirements of our customers were the prevention of hallucinations, the availability of up-to-date information and the implementation of a rights model. The conclusion of the talk will summarize the results oft he implementation projects and provides a check list for companies on how to build their own GenAI based systems with their technical communication content as the main information source.
