For the first time since law for CE-marking of machinery was passed, we have the possibility to deliver documentation in digital format. Although we live in a digital age, the legislation has not caught up to it, until now.

Moving ahead and going from Machinery Directive to Machinery Regulation we enable the manufacturers to create and deliver digital documentation, especially instructions for use. However this comes with several terms and conditions. What are they, how do they affect you and what is the next practical step? What happened when we combine machinery and create an assembly where there is a mix of old and new machinery? Can we expect that the whole system incl. the older machinery will have digital documentation?

How much time, effort and money can we save by going from printable documents to digital information? Is AR/VR allowed?

All of these questions will be handled during the presentation/lecture focusing on the updated requirements when we step into the Machinery Regulation on 20th January 2027.
